Concept: The collages are inspired by the notion of “theatrical staging”, as explored by Tony Clark in his own work. Each collage is developed as an portrait individual to each figure. The abstracted and unique responses to each individual create a hypothetical story behind each of their photos. Despite being crafted to highlight an individual portrait, they move through each panel and interact as a series that can be moved around and create
different responses to one another, both individually and collectively.
All collages are created using my original photographs, images published within the public domain and/or under a creative commons license.
